Geocaching...I LOVE IT!!!

Who doesn't love a treasure hunt? This is my new LOVE! About three years ago some of my best friends and I decided to try this out. We are always looking for something new to try! We loved it! In fact we even started a blog about our finds! It was so much fun! Lately...they have all been a little busy having babies and our hunts are on hold. I really was going to try to keep this for "just friends" but I have missed it so much, I had to share! My kids LOVE it!!!! We have had the best time and it doesn't matter where we are, we are always within a mile of a cache. I'm hooked and now I go with anyone that will tag along with me!

Marisa's 1st find:)

Tab and I always find a cache while we are traveling with our boys baseball team!

Riya, Avery, & Jessi before I took them to church!

Riya's 1st cache that she found on her own!

Yikes!!! No more trips to the ER...

Riya is 12 and Ryte is 9, luckily we have never had to go to the ER... until this year! For some reason they both decided to try this out! Ryte was feeling bad one night, and he had a really high fever. I tried to wait it out and just see if his fever would break. I am not one to rush to the doctor anytime something isn't right. However, when Ryte started complaining about not being able to move his neck, that was all it took. I called the doctor on call and they suggested that we bring him on in. Praise God it was just a virus and he was well in the next few days! Yes...the bill was not great, but the peace of mind was priceless! A few weeks later, Riya went to spend the night with a friend, and around 7pm I got a call from Kelley (Jessi's mom.) She said that Riya and Jessi were on the 4 wheeler and had a accident. Riya fell off, and she landed on her hand wrong. Kelley thought it may be broken, so we needed to go get it x-rayed. Surprisingly, I remained very calm. We loaded up and headed to Gainesville. Riya wanted to make sure that her friends could come along! So the entertainment for the night ended up being a splint on Riya's arm, but NO BROKEN BONES!!! Blessed! I thank the Father for His protection. I know that we can not keep our children in a bubble, but wouldn't that be nice???

Riya's 12!!! WOW:)

I can't believe it! I know that it was only yesterday that I was scared to death to bring this little bundle of joy home. I was completely fine being a "new mom" as long as we could stay at the hospital. The past years have brought so much joy to my life! I love seeing the young lady that she becoming and I look forward to being WAY past the teen years! The attitude has already started:) This year Riya want to go to the Tipsy Canvas and paint for her birthday. It was a great party and all the girls seemed to really love it!
